Here we are again, back with another selection of podcasts to get those creative juices flowing. Podcasts are great for commutes, relaxing evenings or just to get through the slog of your daily work routine. Let’s jump right into it then.

The School of Greatness with Lewis Howes

Lewis Howes is a former American Football player and Olympic Handball athlete. He hosts the incredible School Of Greatness, which is pretty much what it says on the tin. He features entrepreneurs, creatives, thinkers and tinkerers all in the hopes to dig deeper into their methods and routines. The episodes are often fully loaded and detailed, making for a impactive insight into what top performers around the globe are doing to be so successful.

The Design Jones

Ade Mills hosts the fabulous Design Jones podcast, which features some of the best UK design talent. The interviews are well thought out, and give real detail to why top designers do what they do. From their first jobs, processes, favourite clients to failed projects, it a great fortnight listen to hear from other creatives and gain real inspiration.

The Futur

Chris Do has exploded onto the scene over the past year. He has an incredible career and has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. He carries this into his podcast in interviewing giants like Kyle Coopers, Aaron Draplin and Nick Campbell to name a few. I would also highly recommend checking out their youtube page where they regularly post extremely in-depth FREE content on how to do pretty much anything in design.

The Great Discontent

The Great Discontent has been pushing out articles and interviews from artists and makers for some time. The level is always high and detailed with wonderful sound bites. The podcasts dive deep into topics and discussions with its creatives, really understanding their methods and reason for making the way they do. I also love this little mini series they did on asking artists, Are You Creatively Satisfied?

No Such Thing As A Fish

As always, I love to have one podcast recommendation that’s not design related. No such thing as a fish comes from the researchers and geniuses behind Qi. The podcast is pretty much a more span out version of Qi, but each host has a topic they pick every episode and can explore much further in detail. The topics are pretty whacky sometimes, but you can learn some pretty random, yet fascinating facts sometimes?

That’s it for now, but do check out my feature I did for my old University London Met, talking about some tips and tricks to freelancing as a creative here. You can have a look over my work here. And pop over to my social networks too to see what I am posting on Twitter, and Instagram. Oh and don’t forgot, if you like this post give it a recommendation by hitting the heart icon and give me a follow to stay up to date with future stuff. Now get out there and keep creating!
